The RI Herb Festival was founded by Farmacy Herbs in 2013 and is now a collaboration with Providence Cultural Equity Initiative team members, Raymond 2 Hawks Watson, Don King & Johnathon Lewis and Howls Tinctures founder Peter Glantz to uplift activists, diversified voices, plant and land connections, & heal trauma through centering community support, natural healing and music.
The 2021 herb festival is a fundraiser for the Urban Perinatal Education Center organized by Qua Tia. The center is a space focused on eliminating disparities and determinants of infant and maternal health for BIPOC parents.
Join us for our 6th Annual RI Herb Festival September 17, 18 & 19, 2021
This festival is organized with social justice and health justice principles in mind. We strive to make the space safe, comfortable, and accessible for everyone who is interested in learning about herbalism. We request that all teachers and participants treat each other with respect regardless of gender, class, race/culture, religion, immigration status, political views, age, mental ability, and appearance.
