Community Access Program

The 2021 herb festival is a fundraiser for the Urban Perinatal Education Centerorganized by Qua Tia. The center is a  space focused on eliminating disparities and determinants of infant and maternal health for BIPOC parents.

The RI Herb Festival  is  a partnership and collaboration between Farmacy Herbs,  Providence Cultural Equity Initiative team members, Raymond 2 Hawks Watson, Don King & Johnathon Lewis and Howls Tinctures founder Peter Glantz to uplift activists, diversified voices, plant and land connections, & heal trauma through centering community support, natural healing and music at the festival.

The RI Herb Festival is dedicated to creating a space for accessible herbal education in Rhode Island. Our community access program grants free access to the RI Herb Festival for 5 members of each partnership organization. Admission includes: housing for the weekend, all meals, classes and events included. This partnership is funded through proceeds of the festival and our business partnerships. 


Do you represent a community group that would like access to herbal and natural healing?? 

We would love to sponsor 5 of your members to come to the RI Herb Festival for free! 

We focus on created safe spaces and accessible herbal education for:

~ACTIVIST AND HEALER SELF CARE CIRCLE- HOLISTIC TOOLS FOR A RESILIENT BODY AND MIND- with Andrally Horn, Jim Shelton and Mira Silverman
Sip relaxing herbal teas and get an acupuncture from Jim Shelton while  learning about natural, accessible practices that can be used daily to strengthen the body while fighting for justice OR healing the community from Mira Silverman. Learn simple breath work techniques and massage techniques to support the body and lower stress from Andrally Horn. Join Mira as she explores discusses different herbs , nutritional healing and other self-care strategies to help us stay strong, vibrant and resilient!!  This is a self care space for herbalists, healers,  organizers, activists or anyone who works or supports someone who fights for justice and equality.
